Men’s Golf Signs Four To Program
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men’s golf team has signed four new players to the program.
Head Coach Roger Totten added two junior college players and two high school signees to UAPB.
“I’m very excited about the upcoming class,” said Totten, the 2019 SWAC Co-Coach of the Year after leading the program to a near 100-stroke improvement over last year at the conference championship tournament. “We wanted to add experience to the program, so we were able to sign to two players form a nationally ranked junior college program. We also have two outstanding freshmen coming in as well. Combined with the returning players we have, the future of our golf program is very bright.”
Cade Cleveland (6-5, 250) – Buffalo, Tx. (Ranger Community College)
- Had scoring average of 77…played for the number three ranked program in the nation among junior colleges
George Faulkner (6-0, 170) – Brockenhurst Hampshire, England (Ranger Community College)
- Had scoring average of 73 at Ranger, which was the number three ranked program in the nation among junior colleges…Faulkner also won a national championship in high school.
Kohlin Hicks (5-7, 135) – Kansas City, Mo. (Lee’s Summit North HS)
- Had scoring average of 76…2019 all-state selection, two-time all-district in 2018 and 2019, and was a three-time all-conference selection
Justin Lee (6-4, 193) – Pleasant Hill, Ca. (College Park HS)
- Had scoring average of 74…two-time first team all-league selection (2018 and 2019)…earned 1st place in the Diablo Athletic League Tournament in 2019.
