Meek Mill and Jay-Z already work together as members of the REFORM Alliance; and now Meek is signed to the management division of Jay-Z’s Roc Nation entertainment company.
Meek Mill has now partnered with Roc Nation again in a joint venture to launch the Dream Chasers record label. Meek will serve as the President of Dream Chasers and will be responsible for talent acquisition and development, label operations, creative strategy and marketing. In a statement, he said: “creating a record label has always been the next step in my journey as a businessman and I appreciate Roc Nation and Jay-Z’s support on this new venture. I want to take my experiences in the music industry, use them to find young, hungry talent and open doors for the next generation of artists.”
The Dream Chasers corporate office will be based in New York City. Additionally, Meek is opening a recording studio for DC’s future acts. He will also continue to record his own music for Maybach Music Group/Atlantic Records.
