A McGehee man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony charges.

26-year-old Dwight Overbea pleaded guilty to terroristic threating and drug charges in Desha County Circuit Court on Monday. In May, McGehee Police were called to Overbea’s South 4th Street home to serve a warrant for terroristic threating. While serving the warrant, police discovered drugs inside of his home. He was arrested and was also charged with possession of meth or cocaine and possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance.

Overbea was sentenced to serve three years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, plus an additional three years suspended imposition of sentence.
