A traffic stop by McGehee Police resulted in he arrest of a man on multiple felony allegations.

Kyle Bearden, 24, was taken into custody after officers stopped the vehicle he was driving and detected the odor of suspected marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The McGehee Dermott Times-News reported that when the vehicle was searched, officers found several plastic bags of suspected marijuana. Weighing just over four ounces. Also in the vehicle was a Glock 9mm handgun and a set of digital scales.

Bearden has posted a $5,000 bond and been released from the McGehee Criminal Justice facility on charges of possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
