Mayor Shirley Washington joined Jefferson Regional Hospital to rememorate the year anniversary of the pandemic on Thursday afternoon. Mayor Washington gave her remarks to those who played a vital role to care for the residents of Pine Bluff and commended the resilience of everyone across the state. Washington went on to announce that Thursday March 11 shall be known as COVID-19 Remembrance day to mourn and reflect on those who lost their battle to COVID.
