The City of Pine Bluff has elected a new mayor in former State Representative Vivian Flowers. Flowers, who won by 88% of the vote in Tuesday night’s election, spoke with Deltaplex News on Wednesday to give her thoughts on winning the race for Mayor against Libertarian candidate John Fenley.
Flowers said there are few key things she is committed to doing once she is sworn into office.
Flowers, who was recognized for her ability to work with both Democrats and Republicans to get things done while serving as a State Representative, says being able to work with others to make things happen for Pine Bluff is critical.
