A Harrison man was killed Saturday night when his motorcycle ran off the roadway on Highway 65 South near the Highway 81 Junction in Jefferson County.
According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, Daniel Rodriguez, 51, was southbound on a 2007 Yamaha when the motorcycle he was riding left the roadway and overturned, coming to rest in the median of U.S. 65 South.
Rodriguez was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead by Dr. John Skowronski at 12 a.m. Sunday.
The death was the 309th recorded this year on the state’s highways.
