Makiya J. White was honored during a White Coat ceremony at Dallas, Texas, according to a news release.
The daughter of Michael and Linda White of Grady, White received her white coat on October 16, 2018 at Baylor University/Louise Herrington School of Nursing.
White is currently doing six weeks of clinical training at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital at Waco Texas.
“Keep up the good work, Makiya,” her family said in the release.
