A lack of water pressure has forced the Saracen Casino to close its doors and casino spokesman Carlton Saffa has laid the blame directly at the feet of Liberty Utilities, the city’s water provider.

Saffa mentioned a statement made by Liberty spokesman Lamont Davis when Davis was interviewed by Floyd Donald on Sunday and Davis said, “everything’s fine.”

Saffa said the months of February and March are the busiest months of the year in the casino business, attributing some of that increase to tax refunds.

Saffa also refused to reject the idea of the casino filing suit against Liberty to recover lost revenue.
