A bloody man who crashed into a house in Lonoke County on Monday was arrested by the sheriff’s department.

Deputies arrived in the 300 block of Seaton where they found Wesley Curtsinger, 41, inside a pickup truck covered in sweat and blood. Curtsinger reportedly refused to get out of the vehicle and fought against deputies. The sheriff’s office said deputies were forced to use a stun gun to get him under control. After the stun gun method was initiated, the suspect was forced out of the pickup and arrested.

The Lonoke Sheriff’s Office said Curtsinger appeared to be on mind altering drugs. Lonoke County Sheriff John Staley suffered cuts while trying to subdue Curtsinger. No other injuries were reported.

Curtsinger is in custody currently facing multiple counts of battery against a law enforcement officer.
