A reported altercation between two females at an apartment complex on West 40th Avenue Thursday morning resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old Little Rock woman accused of kicking a police officer.

Jotrice Vincent allegedly admitted kicking the officer because she said she did not want to leave the apartment complex.

During a court hearing Friday, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said Officer Julie Hillard was sent to the apartment complex at 5:35 a.m. following a report of an altercation.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Vincent after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with second-degree battery on a law enforcement officer. The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Vincent.
