Lighthouse Academy located at 708 W 2nd Ave hosted a Pink Out parade in honor of breast cancer awareness on Thursday, October 21st. The parade featured all of their students from K-8th, a dance team, and the Pine Bluff Fire Department. Deltaplex radio was there and spoke with principal John Osborn who explained the details of the event.
Osborn also spoke about where the parade took place and the community organizations that support the academy.
Pine Bluff Urban Renewal Agency recently removed a dilapidated house that was adjacent to the school’s playground which is also a plus for the community surrounding the academy. Osborn stated that there will be more exciting events to come for the students at Lighthouse.
