Leslie Rutledge is keeping her seat as Arkansas attorney general.

Rutledge was first elected as Arkansas attorney general in 2014 and was seeking her second four-year term. With 98 percent of precincts reporting, unofficial numbers showed Rutledge leading with 61.97 percent of the vote, Democrat Mike Lee with 35.25 percent of the vote and Libertarian Kerry Hicks with 2.78 percent of the vote.

After winning re-election, Rutledge said she is “humbled by the confidence Arkansas voters have placed in my record” and “couldn’t be more optimistic” about the state’s future.
