Seventeen-year-old Jaylin Bennett has escaped from the Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center.
Bennett was in the Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Youth Services custody until he left the facility without permission at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Local law enforcement is asking for help in locating him.
Bennett is 5-foot-9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
DYS stated that Bennett is committed to the Division of Youth Services for an offense that would be a felony if committed by an adult. He has been in DYS custody since 2022 with charges of terroristic threatening and escape.
Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact local authorities.
