Lack of Production and Higher Demand Drive Up Gas Prices in the State

 

GasBuddy.com says the average price of gas in Arkansas is at $2.20 per gallon, up almost 3 cents from last week.  According to gasbuddy’s survey, Arkansans are paying 15.6 cents more a gallon than a month ago and just over a nickel more from last year.

Gas prices rose 2.8 cents in the past week to an average of $2.20 per gallon.

The national average rose 3.7 cents in the last week to $2.45/g., up 13.2 cents from a month ago, and 1.6 higher than last year.

The lowest price in Pine Bluff according to gasbuddy is $2.08 while the highest is $2.20.
