Officers were called to the Linden Street Apartments at 1020 S. Linden at about 6:48 PM on 2/26/2021 in reference to an armed disturbance. Once officers arrived they spoke to a person on scene who said they heard shots come from one of the apartments. Officers saw bullet holes in the door of the apartment. The Officers gained entry into the apartment with the assistance of the Pine Bluff Fire Department. Inside the apartment they located forty year old Keith Hawkins lying in the floor with apparent gunshot wounds. Mr. Hawkins was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher.
48 year old Kevin Gray has been identified as the suspect in this homicide. Gray is about 6’2”, and 220 lbs. His last known address is 2121 S. Poplar. He was last seen driving a 2006 white Dodge Charger with Arkansas license plate 431 XKL.
