“We only have a few weeks left of the Great Arkansas Cleanup, but plenty of opportunities to volunteer,” said Liz Philpott, volunteer program manager at KAB.  “We encourage every Arkansan to participate in a local Great Arkansas Cleanup event and help us improve the places we care about in The Natural State.”

KAB has also launched a new program this fall for Arkansans who are not able to participate in a cleanup during the Great Arkansas Cleanup, but still would like to volunteer.  Little Grabbers will receive a Cleanup Kit, which includes trash bags, gloves and a T-shirt.  Volunteers can sign up to be a Little Grabber by visiting www.keeparkansasbeautiful.com/litter-grabber-program.

The Great Arkansas Cleanup is sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, Arkansas Department of Transportation, the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Foundation and Keep Arkansas Beautiful.
