Pine Bluff native Warren L. Booker Jr., along with his cast members, will perform at the Children’s Theater at the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library on Saturday, December 8, 2018 and Sunday, December 9, 2018.
The production will take place at 6:00pm nightly in the theater, which is located at 200 East 8th Avenue. Entitled “Karaoke of THE BELLS,” this musical comedy was written by Booker.
The December 9 performance will be dedicated to April Smith-Thomas, a dear friend of Booker who is currently battling an illness and has been unemployed since March of 2017, a news release said.
Booker was quoted as saying, “This is my way of helping a friend by using my gift and bringing the community together to assist in this endeavor. It is another form of Tithe.”
