Concern for Kanye West grew on Monday when the “Stronger” artist, who announced he is running for president, posted a thread of serious accusations against his family.

The 43-year-old claimed his wife Kim Kardashian-West, alongside mother-in-law Kris Jenner, were trying to “lock me up.”

While West has deleted most of his tweets hours after posting them, but not before outlets like People screen captured them, including the tweet that claimed “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday.”

West is referencing what he said Sunday during his first campaign event in South Carolina, where he became overwhelmed with emotion when discussing his stance on being pro-life.

The 21-time Grammy Award winner emotionally revealed that, when his mother was pregnant with him, his father wanted her to get an abortion.

West then said that he faced a similar situation when Kardashian was pregnant with North West, their first child, because they weren’t ready for her.

Besides accusing Kardashian-West and Jenner for trying to have a doctor “lock me up,” he also alleged in another since-deleted tweet, “If I get locked up like Mandela Ya’ll will know why.”

Shortly after midnight Tuesday, he turned his attention away from the accusations and stated “Ima focus on the music now.”

He later confirmed that he will be dropping a new album on Friday, which he named after his late mother, Donda West.

“DONDA coming this Friday,” West announced and posted a photo showing a playlist of the 12 tracks that’ll appear on the album.

Representatives for West, Kardashian and Jenner have not responded to requests for comment.
