The Pine Bluff Police department is investigating a homicide that occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30 in the 2700 block of W. 37th Avenue. Officers were called to a shooting and found one juvenile victim dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
A juvenile suspect is in custody and is currently being held at the Juvenile Justice Center. The suspect is held on a charge of 2nd Degree Murder. This will be the 13th homicide in Pine Bluff for 2021. The police department cautioned that both the victim and the suspect are juveniles so the information that can be released is limited.
