Griffin is running for Drew County Judge in the up-coming election to be held November 6th.

“I have a vision for the future of Drew County and I would like the opportunity to lead the county” Griffin said.  “I have worked with the Drew County Public Facilities Board as maintenance and inspector, in the parts department of Price Lumber Companies, in the service department at Sears, as a service manager at Lucky’s Chevrolet, and the U.S. Army with budgets, training, personnel and logistics. I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get in the trenches to make things happen.”

“While many are highly concerned with roads, bridges, culverts and trash, other areas that need to be addressed by the county officials include updating physical work spaces such as the county road department, building morale, creating incentive programs and providing equitable pay for county employees.” “We also need to develop a working relationship with the other county and city officials, develop a landfill to better accommodate the citizens, work with the loggers, farm and large truck operators in a way that serves them and the county.  We must efficiently utilize the money budget for the county while also addressing the needs of the citizens.”

Griffin wants to encourage every citizen in Drew County to register to vote and on election day exercise your right as an American citizen.  Election will be held November 6th.
