Jeffrey Neal, a secondary assistant principal in the Pine Bluff School District and the owner of a real estate company, has announced he is a candidate for a seat on the Pine Bluff City Council. He will seek the 2nd Ward seat currently held by Dr. Glen Brown, Jr., in the May Democratic Primary.
In a press release, Neal said he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a degree in Secondary English Education and a Master of Educational Leadership from Harding University in Searcy. He is currently completing a program in Educational Specialist in Superintendency from Arkansas State University.
Neal said he has served in various roles in local school districts including serving as a school bus driver and secondary English teacher.
According to the press release, Neal is the “proud owner and leader” of Jeffrey Neal Realty LLC, a Pine Bluff real estate brokerage where he has been recognized by the Arkansas Realtors Association for achievement and excellence in real estate sales. In 2020, he was one of the top Realtors among his peers in the Jefferson County Real Estate market and in 2021, he secured the distinction of multi-million dollar producer of real estate sales.
He said if elected he will focus on two priorities: expanding homeownership opportunities and improving the quality of life for all Pine Bluff residents.
