Jefferson Regional is hosting a summer Farmer’s Market for employees as well as the public.

The market will be open every other Friday in the hospital parking lot at 40th and Hickory. The next one will take place on June 9th, starting at 6:30 am and continuing until everything is sold.

Vendors will be selling a variety of baked goods, fruits, vegetables and other locally sourced items. This week, one of the items we are expecting is fresh blueberries from Kornegay Farms.

“This is the second year Jefferson Regional has held the Farmer’s Market,” said Jamie McCombs, Director of Marketing at Jefferson Regional, “and it’s been a big success. It’s easy and convenient, especially for our team members.”

Everyone from the community is welcome to stop and shop. In addition, new vendors are always welcome. There is no charge to participate and no registration is necessary; just bring your own tables and chairs.
