Jefferson Regional Hospital is hosting a special vaccine clinic on Wednesday, September 8th from 9 am until 11 am at the hospitals’ Healthworks Clinic located at 4747 Dusty Lake Road. This clinic will feature Drew Pearson, Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer, who will meet and greet with the community and encourage them to get vaccinated if they have not.
Wendy Talbot, the Chief Experience Officer with JR is hosting the event with supporting staff and partners. Talbot explained that everyone in the community that is eligible to be vaccinated is welcome to come and be part of this event. People can register for an appointment but they will be taking walk-ins as well.
On a promotional flyer, Pearson is quoted stating that “My family counts on me so count on me to get the vaccine,” in an effort to influence the community to come out to get vaccinated.
