The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is currently investigating a homicide.
On Friday, September 10, 2021, deputies were dispatched to an address in the 1900 block of Hwy 365 South, near Redfield, AR in regards to an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, they found that the victim, Domingo Frausto, 70, had suffered significant injuries from what appeared to be a battery at his home. Mr. Frausto was transported to a hospital in Little Rock where he remained in critical condition.
On Friday, September 17, 2021, our Criminal Investigation Division was notified that Mr. Frausto had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office at 10:35 a.m.
The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. The investigation is active and ongoing.
