Jefferson County now has its 17th Coronavirus death after two patients at the Waters of White Hall nursing home succumbed to the virus. One of the patients passed at the nursing home, while the second passed after being transported to Jefferson Regional for treatment.
Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley confirmed the deaths to DeltaplexNews.com, noting that the first victim was an African American male in his 80’s who passed away Saturday. The second victim was a white female in her 90’s who passed away Sunday.
