Jefferson County now has its 15th Coronavirus death after a patient at the Waters of White Hall nursing home succumbed to the virus early Friday morning after being transported to Jefferson Regional for treatment.

Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley confirmed the death to DeltaplexNews.com, noting that the victim was an African American female in her 80’s.
