The Jefferson County Quorum Court voted Monday night to appropriate an additional $480,335 for the county road department in order to help pay for outstanding bills in addition to providing funds to repair of county roads.
One road in Jefferson County that a lot of citizens have complained about is Old Warren Road.
Complaints have been fielded by Deltaplex News from citizens for several weeks. Additionally, County Judge Gerald Robinson has acknowledged receiving numerous complaints.
Robinson spoke about Old Warren Road saying that repairs are coming.
