Jefferson County Judge Robinson talks courthouse renovations

On Wednesday, Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson talked to Deltaplex News on a variety of subjects including renovations that are underway at the county courthouse.

He said repairs are underway on the roof and when all the renovations are complete, the building will look like it’s brand new.

Robinson was asked his thoughts on the death of a detainee at the adult detention center.

He also talked about his efforts to reduce the county workforce and was asked if he was getting pushback from other elected officials.
