Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson discusses county roads during the winter storm

With the winter storm that hit Jefferson County over the past 24 hours the Jefferson County Road Department has been working to clear as many county roads as possible.

County Judge Gerald Robinson spoke with Deltaplex News Friday morning to discuss the efforts being made.

Robinson said that he has been working with other municipalities in the county in what he calls a team effort.

Robinson added that Entergy Arkansas has been working with the County to ensure power is restored if it goes out.

White Hall Mayor Noel Foster complimented Robinson for putting the county road department to work despite issues with the Quorum Court. Robinson said that he is hoping that he and the Qourum Court can begin working together moving forward.
