Jefferson County Farm Bureau honors local farmer Benny Fratesi

The Jefferson County Farm Bureau honored local farmer Benny Fratesi Tuesday by naming their board room in his honor.

 

Fratesi, who farmed in Jefferson and Lincoln Counties for over 60 years, has been influential in farming legislature for both the state of Arkansas and the United States as a whole by working with Governors, members of Congress and Senate, and former Arkansas Governor and U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Bryan Bonds, the President of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau, spoke with Deltaplex News about Fratesi.

 

 

Bonds spoke about the things Fratesi has done over his career to help fellow farmers.

Bonds said that Fratesi still serves on the Jefferson County Board and it still working to help Arkansas farmers.

 

Fratesi said the honor means a great deal to him.

 

 

Despite his age, Fratesi continues his work to help Arkansas farmers in 2025.
