Jefferson County has announced a new partnership with LRS South, LLC to handle the curbside residential solid waste service needs for the unincorporated areas withinJefferson County.
Beginning Monday December 16th, 2024, LRS will begin delivering carts to Jefferson County residences.
During this transition, residents located in the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County will begin receiving a new blue LRS trash cart with information regarding services under the lid.
New services will begin January 2nd, 2025.
LRS will service customers on the same day as current services to assist in making the transition as simple and seamless as possible.
LRS will only service their blue trash carts. Attached is a copy of the flyer that residents will receive with the trash cart delivery.
