The WWII Japanese American Internment Museum at McGehee has reopened, according to the McGehee Dermott Times-News.

Mayor Jeff Owyoung, the museum will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday for now. It has been closed during the pandemic.

Admission to the museum is not mandatory but the McGehee Industrial Foundation appreciates a $5 donation. The museum is funded by the foundation’s Annual BBQ and auction which was cancelled last year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
