An investigation continues after the bodies of a male and female were found in what city officials called “very weird circumstances”.
The bodies were in two separate homes on August 4th according to city officials, with one body being found in a house in the area of Ridgway Road, and the second being found in a house in the area of 73rd Street.
When asked for information about the case by DeltaplexNews.com Pine Bluff Police Chief Kelvin Sergeant released the following statement.
“We are constantly investigating this situation,” said Sergeant. “We have sent the bodies to the state crime lab, [and are] awaiting cause of death to assist in the furtherance of the investigation.”
The names of the deceased have not been released to the media by the Pine Bluff Police Department nor the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
