The Jones Dunklin Cancer Center at Jefferson Regional Hospital is nearing completion. Earlier this week, Deltaplex News talked with Kathy Ross about the facility and asked her what will make it special.
Ross said the center is located on the second floor of Jefferson Professional Building No. 1, located directly across from the hospital on West 40th Avenue. That floor has been completely remodeled, as has a part of the first floor where the breast cancer center is located.
Ross said in June nearly 1,200 patients were treated, not only for cancer but other diseases as well.
She also spoke about the hospital’s infusion center and explained its function.
Another addition to the center, Ross explained, is a new pharmacy.
