One person was killed and a second injured on rainy Interstate 30 in Saline County early Sunday morning.

According to a preliminary report, a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe was westbound in the eastbound lanes when it collided with a 2014 Freightliner tractor-trailer at 2:19 a.m.

The driver of the Tahoe was not identified in the preliminary report and the driver of the Freightliner, Nicodemus Ragira, 25, of Arlington, Texas was injured and taken to Baptist Hospital in Little Rock for treatment.

The death was the 200th so far this year on the state’s highways.
