Harris Named BOXTOROW All American

Pine Bluff, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women’s basketball senior center Shawntayla Harris was named second team Division-I All American by BOXTOROW, the organization announced on Monday.

Harris ranked first in the SWAC conference in blocks with (58) with a career-best seven blocks against Texas Southern.  She also finished fifth in rebounds with a total of (154), averaging (6.7) per game.

The senior from Tuscaloosa, Ala. was also named on the SWAC All-Conference team for two years in a row.

Harris is one of five SWAC players represented on the BOXTOROW All-American teams.
