Joey Watts, a 36 year old white male from Sheridan, is wanted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. He is a white male wearing a white shirt, and he is bald.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Watts escaped the Grant County Courthouse after being convicted of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm by certain persons by a jury. The jury was in deliberations over the second charge when Watts left the courtroom and escaped.
Watts was sentenced to 10 years for the Aggravated Assault charge, and 26 on the Possession of a Firearm by certain persons charge, and will serve time on both charges consecutively once he is found and arrested. Additional charges for escape are expected to be filed upon his arrest.
