The Grant County Community Theater gained a new place to call home, The Lancaster Hall formally known as Sheridan First Christian Church. The Sheridan Headlight announced the new location and ribbon-cutting ceremony that took place on Friday, June 4th at 407 East Center Street in Sheridan.

Sheridan First Christian Church donated the building and its assets to the theater naming it in honor of the Lancaster family, the family that was mentioned as “the most instrumental in establishing the Sheridan First Christian Church”.

The Grant County Community Center President Karen Applegate was featured explaining how the theater has had to stop shows for an entire year due to COVID-19 and plan to offer shows, hosting a variety of activities including karaoke and improv night at their new locations.
