Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has tapped Cole Jester to be Arkansas’ Secretary Of State. Jester has been Sander’s deputy chief legal counsel for the past two years. Jester replaces John Thurston who was elected state treasurer last month. Nicholas Bronni has been selected to join the Arkansas Supreme Court. Has was formerly Arkansas’ Solicitor General. Bronni will be replacing Judge Karen Baker, who was elected chief justice in November. Also being added to the court is Justice Cody Hiland. He was already serving on the court as an interim member, when he was added 18 months ago after the death of Justice Robin Wynne. He will take over a separete seat on the court.
