Golden Lions Get 22 Bench Points in 69-68 Victory Over Texas Southern

PINE BLUFF, AR —The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men’s basketball team got a 22-point showing from the bench on the way to a 69-68 victory over the Texas Southern Tigers at home Tuesday.
The Golden Lions had four players score in double figures, led by Doctor Bradley, who put together a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Christian Moore tacked on 13 points and six assists and Kyle Brown chipped in as well with 11 points and seven rebounds off of the bench.
UAPB utilized great ball movement in Tuesday’s game, piling up 22 assists on 26 made field goals. Bradley’s seven assists paced the Golden Lions.
UAPB’s defense held Texas Southern to only 33.3 percent shooting from the field. The Golden Lions also limited Zaire Hayes to 3-of-14 shooting in the game.
