A special prosecutor has been appointed to investigate Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson after a meeting of the Arkansas Legislative Audit Committee earlier this month.
The committee referred several violations to Attorney General Tim Griffin for investigation, after initially voting to defer the Jefferson County report to May.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, Robinson was asked his thoughts about that special prosecutor.
He was also asked if he had talked to the special prosecutor.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Robinson if there had been a bid process for the tree trimming and he answered this way.
Robinson said it was a clerical error that his office should have caught but didn’t. He then cited another example.
