A fourth inmate from Cummins Prison has died from the Coronavirus according to Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley.

Kelley told DeltaplexNews.com that a white male in his 70’s passed away Friday afternoon at Jefferson Regional.

The particulars of the inmates are as follows:

  1. African American male in his 60’s.
  2. White male in his 60’s.
  3. White male in his 40’s.
  4. White male in his 70’s.

The Arkansas Department of Health reported Friday that the state has now had 3,694 cases with 2,159 recoveries. There have been 88 deaths.

Additionally, 868 inmates have been infected, as well as 58 security staff members, and six non-security staff members inside of the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
