
The University of Arkansas System has named the four finalists for the vacant position as Chancellor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
According to an announcement from UA System President Jay B. Silveria, the four are as follows.
- Robert Mock Jr., Ed.D. executive vice-president for strategic initiatives and chief of staff, University of Maryland Eastern Shore
- Anthony Graham, Ph.D. tenured professor of education and former provost and vice-chancellor for academic affairs, Winston-Salem University
- Carla Martin, J.D. vice-chancellor for finance and administration, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff
- Robert Carr Jr., Ph.D. provost and vice-president for academic affairs, Fisk University, Nashville, Tenn.
The four were selected with the help of an advisory search committee chaired by Perry Stuckey a UAPB alim, Pine Bluff native and retired vice-president at Eastman Chemical Co.
According to the announcement, the finalists will each visit the campus this month for meetings with students, faculty, staff and university stakeholders. The dates for each visit are set and will include a public presentation and Q&A session with each finalist.
The person selected will replace former Chancellor Laurence Alexander, who left last June.
Dates for each candidate are as follows, Mock, Feb. 19, Graham, Feb. 21, Martin, Feb. 26 and Carr, Feb. 28.
