Former State Senator Linda Collins-Smith was reportedly found dead from a gunshot wound, according to her former press secretary Ken Yang.
Her death is currently being investigated as a murder. Neighbors reportedly heard gunshots a day or two before Collins-Smith was discovered Tuesday. Her body was reportedly found wrapped in some in a blanket. They do not believe that the public is in danger.
A prosecuting attorney has reportedly issued a gag order, a legal order by a court or government, restricting information or comment from being made public.
