Foo Fighters have shared a statement mourning the death of Andy Pollard, the band’s stage manager for 12 years.

“We are shocked and devastated by this loss,” the Foos write of Pollard, who passed away Friday morning. “We can’t imagine being onstage without Andy there by our side.”

“He was not only a key member of our team but a dear friend and wonderful father,” they add. “Our hearts go out to his partner Sophie Peacock, their children Arlo and Ren, and his family and loved ones.”

In honor of Pollard, Foo Fighters are dedicating their upcoming show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden this Sunday to his memory.
