UPDATE 3:50 P.M.: Forestry Division Director Joe Fox tells Deltaplex News that the fire near Rayhan Road has been contained and an additional 60 acres have burned in addition to the original 175 acres burned Monday.
No homes or property were damaged in today’s fire, and no personnel have been injured.

Watson Chapel Fire Department firefights are actively fighting a wildfire in the area of Rayhan Road in Jefferson County.
Fire officials tell Deltaplex News that they are ordering evacuations for citizens on Rayhan Road due to fire danger.
