Wednesday night, there was a report that a plane crashed at Grider Field which resulted in the Pine Bluff Fire Department responding to the scene. It turned out that the crash was actually in Lincoln County, but Fire and Emergency Services Chief Shauwn Howell said his department was still involved.
Howell, who appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show went on to say this.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Howell how it works when firefighters get called out and then find out the incident is not in their jurisdiction.
Howell said he has not talked to the pilot or seen a report so he didn’t know exactly what happened.
