The final steel beam was placed at the top of the new Fine Arts building that is under construction at White Hall High School on Thursday at a short ceremony featuring White Hall Superintendent Doug Dorris, several school board members, and members of the construction team.

Dorris said that the event was big for not only construction, but to show the community how the building and access to the building will be laid out.

Dorris said construction is scheduled to be finished in September, but the plan is to have the band room and choir room open in August.

Dorris also stated that the new lockers for the multi-purpose building have been delivered and are scheduled to be installed beginning next week.
