Extension Office hosting Master Gardener Class and plans upcoming plant sale

The Jefferson County Extension Office is hosting the first of two master gardening classes that started earlier this month and last until June 1st. The master gardening class focuses on planting the gardeners vegetable of choice in the demonstration garden located at the office and they meet weekly to observe the garden during the growing season.

Kurk Beaty the director of the Extension Office explained this process,

The Master Gardeners are also hosting their annual plant sale that will begin on June 1st for the Jefferson County community,

The second round of master gardening classes will begin around August of this year. If any Pine Bluff residents would like to know more information about the plant sale or were interested in becoming a master gardener can contact the extension office at (870) 534-1033.
